Went out before sunrise waiting for the elk to come out and feed on the alfalfa field. Same field I dropped my big cow 4 yrs ish ago. two cows with their calves came out and one did a lap of the field for about 5 mins i caught it on video

I managed to get my mates elk on film. this bull was actually calling his cows when we found him, they were cow calling him back. as my mate made his way closer I used the cow call to keep the bull occupied.

Right then 3 buddies needed me as a caller and guide of the area. 3 of them had bull tags and one mate has been waiting 14yrs to get drawn. first day went Pete tong. second day we split up but one mate had to work. I went out to buy a bear tag which allows me to carry a rifle. I was going to plug a cow for one of the group. we got to the field we’re we seen cows n calves in the morning and the other lad went west to another piece of land. i just got settled when I heard two shots, then my phone rang, buddy plugged a bull. So packed me shit up and headed over there
