Maybe you are right a patterdale is not for you and if you are getting a dog for your kids maybe you should get something that is appealing for your kids. This whole thing smells of bullshit imo.. With that said yes there are lots of them type here and I'm a believer that the ex bulldog guys that get into terriers here in the states are ruining things as they don't really understand hunting and I'm sure we'll have a few posting their so called knowledge now lol.. The hall of fame is bs and everyone with a hof dog knows that. We do have good dogs here and plenty of people who really hunt properly that choose not to be in the spotlight.     Putting a working terrier to another working terrier is one thing and has been done for decades but anyone breeding a working terrier to a poodle to sell house pets is a moron imo.. I think this is something we'll be seeing more of In the future.

    mole 265 I agree with you a hundred percent, way too many black dogs are in the publics hands and all they want is cross breds because for some reason they sell. Rippem working terriers have been crossed since the beginning of time and it's doesn't make them a mix breed because a patterdale isn't a breed its a type of terrier that has many other working terriers in its genetics.
