That's good to know thanks RTurlough they wouldn't or shouldn't have any concerns regarding the ferrets. But you do read horror stories about them taking people's dogs for no other reason apparently than they are working dogs. I have no respect for the rspca I think they are as bent as they come. The neighbor issue is still on going unfortunately , took it up with their private landlord who has promised on numerous occasions that he will make sure he has nobody around after midnight and is considerate of everyone else and how sorry he is etc etc. Since found out the landlord is big pal

Council rang today and said they are sending him a letter (annonimous), and sending me a sheet for me to log the times and days of any disturbances or confrontations. With any luck that will do the trick.

After saying what he did I wouldn't accept a thing from him, he has no right touching or going near my hutches. First day he said he had seen the pheasant in there obviously snooping and next leaving stuff on the top of the hutch. Wouldn't trust the lad as far as I could throw him, maybe he wanted to make peace after being a nob who knows but I won't trust him now. He's been spotted looking through my windows too, lived here a year and top kitchen windows been open ever since for the cat to come and go. Spent my day off teaching it to come in and out of a second floor bathroom window f

If I wasn't out of the house all day I'd be tempted to play them at their own game. I especially love the live rat through window idea. But I'm just a bit cautious to start a war and know my pets may end up being caught up in it, it's a open area so anyone really came come and go and moving them isn't a option. I'm defiantly going to make as much noise outside as I can, I have a ferret hutch to be modifying and messing on with which requires drills and hammers ? But I have to be careful to not come across as bad as them, I won't be playing any loud music as that's just plain inconsider

The ones that are causing the trouble? No it's a young lad who's just taken it over, and all his friends / pub kick outs. It's like a nightclub up there on a evening.

Obviously I don't know what their like but I imagine if it was a piece offering they'd have given it to you in person. I just wouldn't trust them to give them a 'treat' (all be it the wrong type of food you could say it's the thought that counts) this was the same person that called them evil the day before ... ?

Yes I read the same, I believe it's due to the large amount of salt, I'm not sure if it was a peace offering or it was left to wind me up the point is they shouldn't be touching my hutch or feeding my animals. I'm ringing my landlord on monday, thanks for the advice.

The thing is I was handling my ferrets when we had the conversation yesterday they are all soft as shite any idiot could see that, can't believe how narrow minded some people are to say game keepers are weird and saying the ferrets are evil after seeing me handling them. I tried the ear ear plugs to no avail, I called the police and got in touch with the council they said it's not a quick fix but to make a log of each time it happens at what time and how long it goes on for etc and to phone them each time. Gave my other two neighbours the phone number as they are in the same boat, it's suc

Neighbours from hell have moved in first night they were partying loud music shouting and swearing and generally having no respect for any one else. Ummed and arred with going over and having a word and in the end couldn't bare to lie there any longer knowing I had to be up in a few hours for work so went over to politely ask them to keep it down, got a good response and they admitted they had been too loud and all was fine afterwards and I managed to get to sleep.
