  1. Morton go upstairs and take that anger out on your mrs pussy ??? bit of built up tension there mate hahaha funny guy ???
  2. Well at least you know what your doing and not on the fence line. What you looking at for your next one then? Have you only the one dog?
  3. If she does your head in then finding her a new home isn’t a bad idea. Only live once and why put up with the stress of a dog that’s not met your requirements. If you can keep it with someone you know you can always take it out with your new puppy or just get another puppy and accept her for what she is...a pain in the arse? me personally would probably fk it off.
  4. Was she ok with that one or did she immediately think fk this? Shit when your dog doesn’t live up to your expectations after bringing them up and looking forward to working them. Life I suppose
  5. What’s been the problem with the Sal bull grey just out of curiosity
  6. Mate that’s exactly what my two do. They won’t dare move without my command. I trained them properly. Advanced techniques brought on by years of research, experimentaation and refinement. Any tips needed just give me a shout. I’m not cheap but I get it done....honest.....and if you believe that your as daft as me ?
  7. Yea that abit like my Sal Bull grey. She seemed shy and nervous until and stays at my side until she either smells something near by and see’s something then her ears go up and she changes into a whole different state of mind. Focused, hunting... then she will go back my side when nothing is near by again
  8. I’ve just taken an 8 month old 3/4 whippet 1/4 bull for the same reason. Was abit quiet for the first few days. Had it out with my other dogs bushing and ended up grabbing one in the bushes so was over the moon. Always a gamble but still young and game for it which is all you can ask
  9. Looks a nice harness mate and a nice dog to go with it ? how’s he/she bred?
  10. Yea mate she can move like. She’s my first Lurcher and I’m more than happy with her. I remember when she really found her feet and just out the blue on a walk one day was running about and she just kicked it up a few gears. I hadn’t seen her run that quick yet. I couldn’t stop smiling by how quick she was moving. We all remember them times when your dog really nails it for the first time. Nowt better!
  11. My picture above is a Saluki Bull Grey x Saluki whippet Grey 24tts. Doing bits!
  12. I think a mistake I made and still make is having them off the lead too often and not working off a slip often enough. Letting them just mooch and hunt up whilst terriers run the bushes. Especially when there young. Knocks there confidence I think because they run rabbits they can’t catch due to cover? What your thoughts
  13. Ok I’ve only had Lurchers for the passed two years and everyday is a school day. Life is short and nobody has much time on their hands these days with work and other commitments. So what are common mistakes people make when first owning a Lurcher which will hinder progress. This could be absolutely anything from training, using slip lead, entering Lurcher to quarry and more. I see a lot on here and common phrases are ‘if done right’, ‘if entered right’ ‘if bred right’. For all the beginners out there looking to soak as much information in as possible, it would be good for the time served lads
  14. When it’s reached that time, it’s time to depart, To you’re new home, could be near or far, if you feel lonely and your weight starts to ‘strug’, it’s time to invest in some ‘Tidy Grub’ ???
  15. Apparently if they look on the thin side you have to feed them a special serving of ‘Tidy Grub’ I can’t find it anywhere ???
  16. Mate she looks mint, that Drontal defo worked mate ???
  17. Never seen one myself but that’s nothing to go by. I have a Saluki Bull grey x Saluki whippet grey. A dash of this and a dash of that! I think they would be speed machines no doubt about that! Would defo have one
