I’ve seen a good few of them, only worry was how much space they’d take up as I know terriers can feel like they’re everywhere all the time in a house
Each to their own. Place would be empty without dogs imo

Looks like this might be the way to go
There's no shortage of Beddy lurchers, even lurcher doodles

Yep hill sheep are more tempting and dark coloured lambs etc
That's what I meant by different types, need to break them to all sheep or try anyway. No good just showing them a few pets imo

I wouldn’t have a pup for a kid mate I’ve been there and done that with my stepson who was 16/17 at the time,he doesn’t mind a look out but never want a lurched before. The lads he was knocking about with had them so he fancied one. When down to Birmingham for the 1st one as I got him it for Xmas cost me £55 in fuel £170 for the dog which died a week later with parvo. He got one gifted 2 mts later from Scotland so that cost me £60 in fuel I got the lad a Russel bitch which he wanted as I always repay my favours. Then when the dog hit 2yrs old he got rid of it which never cost him a penny but cost me all the food, jabs,a £1300 vet bill I swore then I would never do it again for him.
That's a shame, but not everyone is like that.
Can't think of anything better for a kid if that's what their into

I love a good real hunting man speech! proper work ffs if there out running shit an catching shit that’s proper enough!
Your obsessed with "big boy talk" and "real hunting man speeches" and also the only person that sees and mentions most of it??
The one dog does him, the same as you? If you were bang at it, would you not think about another dog?

I'd like to know how many generations of the original Bowline longdogs were bred, sadly my requests for this information has been ignored
He bred 1st crosses and 3/4 breds for a while and jacked. It was never a line

Doesn't work, they get injuries, old etc at some point your going to have to get a pup. And if the old one lives to a good age you'll end up with three
But a saluki type or collie type for the same reasons

Anyone know the name of the chap who bred deerhound lurchers in Swinesdyke Lincolnshire? And it is NOT Len ginger Francis RIP as the man I bought my pup from spoke to the chap in Swinesdyke in 2019/2020 AFTER Len was RIP. Need some lineage on the dam Roma of my pup. Roma from a litter born 4 August 2012 in Swinesdyke near Nothorpe Lincolnshire. Her sire Bernard grey/deer x grey/bearded collie & her dam Tig , Tigs or Tiggy grey/deer x grey/whippet. My pup born in Colchester March 2021. Breeder cant find the paper with the name of Roma's breeder & his phone number on it due to chaotic domestic circumstances. TIA.
Greetwell German shepherds and deerhound lurchers?? Did a search..

Said the other week there is lower priced pups starting to show, even more now.
74 lurcher adverts on pets4homes for £500 or under, the other sites will be the same....

How do the hill hunters stock break? Those that let them range out on their own?
Never really thought about it or done anything different. Just walked pups on the lead through different types of sheep watching eyes and ears, untill they don't need told, and then start trusting them a bit?

For a boy who bangs on so much about salukis and the work you do with them you still don't know anyone who ran for 20 quid in the last year... There's been a few..seems even the proper saluki men don't want to know you... Wonder why?
Your constantly on about bull X's.. it's blindingly obvious that you have never seen a proper bred bull X...
Not some shit bred from a shit bull with no history... proper bred bull X's the bull side of things would have been well tested over years... And if it's a first X even the greyhound side will have been tested on teeth... The only bull you know is bullshit.
Lol not guilty or @Gospel Steve sorry I mean stop end

Nearly all of the folk that slag breeds/crosses off have feck all experience of them worth talking about. And it's blindingly obvious/piss funny to anyone that does. So why bother or let it bother you

Yeah should of said before they get any speed?
Like you say injuries can't be avoided. Get pups out and about from a young age, across all sorts of ground etc and get them jumping clean, and
