Great kennels hpr,well worth the time and money in the long run,far better than wood which looks good to start with but 12 months down the line looks crap.

I still would not take the risk with collies has a local farmer killed 2 unrelated dogs he said he gave them 0.2 mill each,has said best to use for skin conditions and not has wormer

Pre myxy most farms and estates had full time rabbit catchers,which used gin traps by the million which would of kept the fox levels very low.the fox will eat such a variety of food from beetles fruit small animals and birds and dead rotten meat which would kill a domestic dog if eaten the fox will thrive on,so I don't think the low levels of rabbits will bother fox numbers.much.when I started keepering poison was used like shake and vac,and now we have night sites and high powerd rifles and still the fox survives.and good luck to him tally ho.

Neil at times like that don't you just love hunting men,I had a case last season on a call out farmer lost 7 lambs over aweek terrier marked boundery earth farmer rang hunting neighbour has we would have to dig is side not a chance.2 foxes in wires next morning funny old world.

Its sometime a hard balance between making sure you have enough work for your dogs and keeping farmers and gamekeepers happy,2 terrier lads I met told me how they lost their only perm on 3000 acre estate when the land owner through is bedroom window watched them let animal go at end of dig,hard lesson learnt.

I don't think all foxes are lamb killers,the problem is when your looking after large areas of land you can't aford to give them that chance.I found over the last 30 years the lads who critisie what I do soon forget about it when they want a days digging in the winter.

Dog fox traveling miles to find dead lambs you must be joking, foxes see lambs the same has they see any other prey, what most hunting lads don't understand is the fox does most damage in the hunting close season, if you choose not to kill foxes in the spring and summer that's your choice but don't have a moan at lads who are carrying out pest control when its most needed by farmers and keepers

Foxes only have one season ayear.the fox is a great mother and will put a large investment into rearing alitter, you only need to look at the efect rearing a litter has on her body.she would never get her body back in the same year. Early cubs or late cubs are just down to vixens coming in to season at diferent times,

Sometimes pups bred out of worker to worker that should produce digging dogs on paper, just produce rubbish its unlucky that none worked.If it was has easy has this their wouldn't be the amount of crap about. 25 years ago I made big mistake of keeping a mother and daughter in same run, lived together for 3 years came home from work to blood bath, never kept 2 dogs in same run to this day.

The best way forward with a farmer like this is the local farming community,may in the first instance for a Neighbour to go and find out what is problem with the hunt is,if that fails. Isolate him it want be long till he will need help it never is in farming.

Any skin probs can have a number of causes from mites fleas ,food or just stress, the correct cause must be found before any treatment

The dose for ivemectin is for cattle and sheep,so has it is not licenced for dogs the correct dose is not stated.the reason why collie dogs cannot be treated is their membrain on their brain is damaged by ivemectin,I have treated terriers And lurchers with no problems would only give 2 jabs 2weeks
