    Reckon most crosses can do them, think the perfect dog needs to be 26" with good early pace to put pressure on them but with the stamina to stick with them. Once they get a turn out of them a good experienced dog will tend to have them. IMO My prefered cross pre ban would of been saluki x or salukix with a little dash of deeerhound. Regards Ben

    Think to hunt the land you have to pay for the hunting rights. My mate runs a shooting synidicate on the forrestry commission land up near reeth they pay them every year for the hunting rights for the land think its a kanny bit aswell.

    Ok no problem jig, she just looks suprisingly similar to my bitch pup and the same age. She looks the double of the sire aswell. If she is out the same litter they are well bred and wood1 off here bred them. Try and find out where the dog was bred mate if it was south yorkshire good chance its the same litter. Regards Ben

    She is fine no blood in any of her poos over night, one little drop in her poo this morning and then this afternoon no blood in any of her poos. They are starting to look morn normal as well not as runny. Think the worming has done the job. She been bouncing about all day play fighting with the other dogs etc.. Eating well and drinking water so think she is ok now. Just keeping a close eye on her. She eat over half pound of tripe this morning a bowl of biscuits at dinner, then chewed most the meat of a chicken wing and just fed so some miced rabbit and biscuits so she eating really

    have seen this quite a lot when feeding chicken carcases or wings lay off them untill the pups a bit older.a good complete meal has enough protein in it without adding raw meat to it.brown bread, meat and a little veg and your fine.youve got to be on the ball when feeding raw (worms). Gave her some drontol plus this morning and she shit out a load of worms this afternoon and no blood. Could it be a case of her having a bad case of worms making the blood come through in her poo. See what her poo is like in the morning and should get a better picture if the worming has sorted the problem.

    Nah I don't think the only real answer is Parvo mate to be honest, by the sounds of it I'd bet it was the change of food and bones. I had a similar thing happen with a pup I have, I gave it one of these roasted knuckle bones from the pet shop and his shits were runnier than normal with a bit of blood in it. Just turned out that it was the bone that I had give him. From what I've read, dogs tend to go lethargic and off their food before they start shitting blood when they have Parvo, where as your bitch is the opposite. Still inform the vet mate, as you never know it could be something

    Thanks for the replys lads, No she dont seem lethargic she just ragging hell out my leg running about flying up and down the stairs just like a normal puppy very hyper. Her poos where ok when i got her only just notice blood yesterday. She was fed on complete and tinned dog food at first then i changed her on to raw meat mixed with complete food and gave her raw chicken wings on an afternoon. The only thing that is worrying me is that she was delivered by a pet courier so was other dogs in the van. All my dogs which she has been in contact with has had there jabs but i done them myself so

    My 7 week old pup is passing blood in her poo just had her a week. Going to take her to the vets tomorrow just hope its not parvo. Was going to do her jabs tomorrow aswell. She is still eating well and drinking water and is very playfull and active. Could it be anything else since i have got her i have changed her diet to raw minced meat and meaty bones mixed with a good complete food. Regards Ben
