Had a Tikka 243 new. Could not get it too group at all. Tried every thing ,strip,clean ,back too shop,mod-on,mod-off, back to shop, back too range diff ammo ,back too shop,bi-pod, sand bags ...........ball-bags too this I thought, back too shop. In the end it became heated with the supplier as they now blamed me a walk through the garden off understanding we comprimised and too cut too the quiuck I now have a Howa . I have since heard that the 243 for this make is a problem round for whatever reason. Down the club a number off members have heard off grouping problems with the Tikka/Sako

As an ex-biker Weejohn I used wd40 like everyone for everything. I was talking too some professional stalkers about moderators and this is where I got my take on it and to me it makes sense. HOWEVER..you got the paperwork which is more than I've had so go with it. When I strip my wildcat though, there are periodical build ups off carbon. And without access too it how can it be clean especially by WD,its not what its for. Try the brake cleaner. I'm no expert by a long shot John, has anyone else got a take on this.

Brake cleaner squirt in both ends. Strip down and lightly brush away any carbon build up using the cleaner as well. re-assemble using moly-grease sparinly on the threads, put too side till required for next outing........alternately.......... let carbon build up add some flammable oil like wd40, let dry and repeat process. Continue till you blow mod up and probably hurt some-one as well. Its some thing that needs addressed in the industry. With all the money spent there is a complete lack off cleaning/stripping procedure info when you by a mod or a rifle. I have bought a Tikka and a Howa

Sorry, he won't get my vote. I don't just react to things like that and would have anticipated the birds and been "on" my dog. He said himself he had learnt a lesson, lucky it wasn't a bigger one. Waited 5 mnths with them for one last year, I got fed up waiting so I went to Reloading Solutions, had a chat , arrived next day+1....brilliant. 8mnths later thats EIGHT after they took my order with the Sportsmans......I get ..two of them. Go too a professional gun shop, a specialists, not a jack of all trades. Great service.

Me and my missus shared a book for crimbo, , HFW River Cottage on meat ..quite good. Sat on the s/hand armchair, fire, port and the kids alll laughing..the best I could ever have asked for. Primative natives say that nature will often reflect what we do ourselves. This I have found with certain problems especially the poultry !! |They are very inteligent and the lasst one I had 21yrs ago died I believe from boredom. Just fell over. They just don't like being locked up ,best off luck and I hope the answer comes soon.

Worked all over Europe and the UK. Argyle, The summers Isles, Kyleskue Lomond, and then east and the Kingdom of fyfe. Durham and Horthumberland , Lakes and Morcombe,Dales and Lancs ,Lincoln,the fens and broads . Wales top too toe and the Emerald Isle. We all bring something diffrent too the table but without each other ours would seem less. All so diffrent, I love em all .

Thanks Karl, I was already aware off this I do think in the main that it refers too city ferals which are around certain areas a pest. I do lose good ratters frequently, to " sorry didn't know it was yours" type off retort, fair enough but we're the only place for far and wide but with a public FP through it.
