    KNIFE MAKING

Everything is a very good fit,- not sure what type of blade was used. Can't get intouch with him yet. He had been to Rory Connors in Ireland for knife making classes. Just spoke to him,- it was not an actual class, he just called on him, and he let him watch how it was all done. The type of blade was a Swedish blade, it has BO on it, on the knife he made himself. I have sent you some info via PM
  5. Mine are all micro-chipped but you can't identify a dog walking down the street by micro chip.
  6. I got my Lurcher done,- its more difficult for anyone to keep a stolen dog if its ear tattooed.

    KNIFE MAKING

A friend of mine has just started knife making and sent one to see if i can get a good sheath made for it. Next one is for me. Its snake wood handle, and buffalo horn. Very nice indeed. I hope you can see it ok, as i'm not so good with this camera.
  9. The Northumberland side of the Northumberland and Durham Working Terrier club is based in Bedlington. They have a show early in the year at Bedlington cricket club. Just go along and have a chat with people. There are many people who work dogs in your area, just get to know some.

    KNIFE MAKING

One of the best i have seen,- real craftsman ! What sort of tools do you need ? I did buy some stuff blade etc etc from Texas Knifemakers, but made an arse of it, as it needed silver soldering etc. Cost me £90 But i still fancy having another go after seeing these knives you lads are doing. Very well done lads. I'd be like Millet though, i'd dare not use it. A drop point is what i fancy for gutting etc,- some day !!! http://www.texasknife.com/TKS_Mainframe.htm

    Estate cars

The best estate car we ever had, loads of room, very cheap to run, and parts from any scrap yard,- also very reliable.
  14. HW90 in .22 had a HW80, the best ever but heavy. I tried a BSA Supersport, which was very good. Anyone near Newcastle, my mate is selling a HW80 for £100, a real bargain, its hardley used. Just had a call from my mate, its the HW77 he is selling. ( edited )
