  1. Tonya feels a bit embarrassed, but yes that is Andys paypal address, if she could get just enough to get him some new binoculars.
  2. Just got a message from Tonya, it says, If anyone wants to help me get Andy a new pair of binoculars, PM Andy for his PayPal address i'm asstounded by the nice comments and responses, she says. Don't do anything till Tonya confirms this paypal address. Thanks lads.
  3. That is a good idea. I have no wish to embarrass Andy, but i know them and their circumstances and know they don't have much income,- he did the net-making for my Countryside marquee, and was selling nets to cover his materials and travelling costs, and he gets a bit income from selling the rabbits to a local butcher.
  4. No, they did not take the car, Tonya had to find someone to collect it, and the dog and ferrets. They did take the rabbits though.
  5. Best wishes to Andy, and i hope your ok also. I'm off out soon, but will speak later. Dave and Denise.

  8. He is a real canny lad. He was ferreting in an isolated place, on his own. So he was lucky to be found so quick.

  10. Talk of lamp shy,- try a red filter,- i did and it made a big difference,- it does not seem to scare them, and we could almost walk right up to some rabbits etc. My mate was also bringing in foxes very close on the red filter. He won't use without a filter now. Blue or green was no good, but amber good in foggy conditions.
  11. Hi Nicolas These are very nice type blades, especially the one with more belly to it,- the white one i did, you will see has more belly about 1/3rd from the point. A handy general type blade. They will make great knives. Dave

  14. Sorry you can't see it very well. Its 52100 bearing steel, with black palm handle. Photo of Bear ( Ralph ) with it in Ohio, USA. He rather liked it.
  15. Yes 52100 is a great steel, i had a blade of that, but sent it to a friend in USA,- it was a great knife.
