  1. I've ordered my new kennel block but it comes 6ft tall and the tallest they can make it is 6ft 2. my question is shall I put a course of breeze blocks down with a gap in between to allow for cleaning or just bend over for the time I'm in the kennels? My kennels at the min don't bother me that they are low as I know I'm getting rid of them but with my new ones being more permanent I don't know if to do the extra work before hand to make it more comfortable in the future or the amount of time I'm going to spend in it wouldn't be worth it?
  2. A few good pairs are loads better then a lot of pigeons, I went wrong when I started getting pigeons off everyone and ended up with loads of crap
  3. I've always found later bred young birds of a pair say 3rd/4th round are not as strong as 1st/2nd round, I reckon parents don't feed them as well after a few rounds. But some late breds of race birds who's fit and just finished racing should be bang on for you to try out
  4. A few pictures after a couple of days and they had come out their shell a bit
  5. Then food will be your "Key" in training them up, small titbits on recall or anything you wish to reinforce will work, they may get jealous of each other if you"re taking them out together, first sign of trouble I would walk them separate, it will be you that they will fight over so watch for any early signs, "good luck", WM Yeah your right there noticed it a bit last night they had a bit of a fall out because they both wanted a fuss, I'm moving my kennels to my mums to make space for my new kennel block so probably going to send one to my mums and leave one at mine so can concentrate on them
  6. Really pleased with them today quite in kennel not had them with kids yet but will do, had them off lead today a bit ignorant bit they don't respond to their name but will come to me when I whistle. They are so greedy will eat till they collapse if I let them
  7. Cheers all for the comments, still early days yet but they are better today then yesterday the younger one ripped out his terrier box to get with me yesterday they love affection and they are the same being better with women then men.
  8. I think that's what I'm going to concentrate on most to start with then hopefully everything else will fit in place
  9. Anyone got any tips on getting them right it would be much apriciated.
  10. My mum took him so I don't know 100% but told her to rest him up for 2weeks and go back for check up and possible X-ray.
  11. Or that could do the exact opposite and make the injury worst seeing as none of know what the injury is ........ So your saying just rest and light walks till find out what it is or no walking at all? Cheers
  12. Been told by vets to keep my lurcher in kennel and prevent him from jumping and running, I'm taking him out on the lead steady walking has anyone got any tips to help with recovery. Vet said it looks like a knock to the elbow. Cheers
  13. Only ever had one dog with dew claws on back and only heard of one lurcher who had them on alround so don't think many people have to get the rear ones removed they just can't be arsed to get front ones done.
