  3. solid fiberglass poles are better than bamboo, i got mine of a greenkeeper on a golf course and they work a treat,hope this helps.
  4. ive heard of this method ! apparently 2 youths caught 37 sea trout and 6 salmon,using a laser light and a landing net ,plus a hazel stick. this apparently happened last december near where i live.

  11. Try looking on the internet for nylon sole nets ! 15-20mesh deep 4"mesh. netting companies sell them without leadline or floating rope. Bass nets are also good,but you"ll have to cut them down to the size you require,as they are 60mesh deep!

  18. If you knit a longnet ,100 yrds for example,and 15 meshes down,which ever way you do this your still knitting the same amount of meshes. Hope this helpsMC. And yes OTC i do know what im talking about, do you?
  19. The lenght of a net and width of a net are the same! The hieght of a net and the depth of a net are the same! If you knit 150 meshes to get your lenght,then you knit 15 full meshes or 30 rows to get your hieght or depth, you will have knitted 4500 half meshes or 2250 full meshes. Start of by making a gate net first,this will give you a better idea of what your doing. fasten 10yrds of cord or thin rope up to either end of a room or garage or outside if you dont mind freezing to death.make sure its at chest hieght or a bit higher,this will help you when your net starts taking shape.Start knitting your first row,for example 150meshes,along your cord.get to the end of your cord with your last mesh,drop down and knit a row back,this will give you your first full mesh.if you start your first row of meshes at 150 you will finnish your net at 150,providing you drop down and m
