  2. yes the mk3m collars you dont need to take the batterys out and there waterproof

  7. hi dose anyone know where i can get some of the rubber or plastic end caps to put on top of the longnet poles so they are easier to push in the ground

  9. not hard to put on just a bit difficult to get them out if its a bit tight to put on dont force it just shave the collar with a razor blade or something sharp then use superglue or some kind of resin over the top to strenghten it
  10. well got up this morning and there had been 1 inch of snow so me and the auld fella were away decided to do a hedge so a few purse nets set easy holes and the long nets either side was the plan for the day so first bit two ferrets down and then a few mins later one bolts onto als side then another starts hole hoping for a while with the poleys hot on its trail then we eventually get it in a purse net then onwards along the hedge . same senario a bit of hole hopping and then eventualy bolt with 3 out of this bit then next bit same again with the dog starting to show a bit more int
  11. yes you can but be very carefull as they are easily broken
  12. if its a mk1 be very careful as they are brittle and you need patience or you will break them
  13. at least you were out a wee tip when you put picts up go to the IMG at the bottom of your picts in photobucket HIGHLIGHT COPY AND PASTE then the picts come up with your post
  14. great read once again dont tthink i would of been brave enough to tackle them thorn bushes keep at them
  15. One problem with this you could have ferrets two feet and four feet with the same cross over sound two or three the most.

  18. i remember when i lost a ferret years ago before i had a [ff] went back the next day there was a hole where i had filled them in no sign of ferret went back next day nowt then the third day went back been a walk all round the fields then to the set and squeaked at the hole out come the ferret fat as a bull so dont know if it was another rabbit that dug out the hole and the ferret was stuck and had to eat its way out but was well chuffed to get her back [ff] is a piece of mind like someone said it could be 6inches below your feet
  19. make your own cheaper than buying them and a lot more pleasing that you know you made them spun poly
  20. got picts sorted now i think no we never got any snow that was just frost the garden was like an ice rink
