    Yes I think you are right about letting him see rabbits too early that's what I did, I read it somewhere that you should tell them see game at a young age so I did but it's not worked for me, so lesson learnt what works for you don't work for me!

    He is a one man dog but as I've say most the time he's good but when hes not wanting to do anything he will not do it thats even go out for piss at night, I try not to let him get rabbits as he will just run and shake the f**k out off it and not come near he even if I walk way, now this is were I'm finding it hard in what to do I want him to get rabbits but not till he will come to me with his toys ever time as I fill when he dose this it puts back to square one what can I do? (Not shoot it!!)

    On what do you judge the quality of the bond on bud ?I spend a lot of time playing with him doing all the thing everyone has been saying, its just some of the time he will just do what he wants to do

    He's good in garden it more when out walk he just wants to hunt yes that good but not when you want him to bring the rabbit back not just run around with it

    Can anyone help me out, my dog is 6 months old and as he's my first so I'm not sure if what I'm doing is right or wrong, his recall is a bit hit and miss when he wants to do it so I'm just sticking at it but it don't get any better, so what I'm asking is can anyone in the Folkestone/Ashford area take me under there wing and help me out to get my dog to work. Thanks for any help

    I love the markings of the dog in the last pic, my one is brown where yours is gray, now look at your dogs I can see why people say mine has collie in him

    I praised him up all morning and we was having fun till we went for a walk and a rabbit ran out on him, when he got I call him in he started coming then just run around shaking it after some time he did come back, I praised him up as it was his first one and was so over the moon with him but still need to work on him coming strai5ghtback to me

    It's the first time I've taken camera out with me, he's coming on slowly so am I!

    Hes not coming back till hes eaten it or stoped play with it, I just don't want him to get a bad habit, so when he gets a live one he will come to me with it not just eat/play

    The last 3 time I've been walk the dog he has found rabbit carcasses, when he gets it all the recall training gos out the window and he will not come near me just fcuks off with it, what can I do? He's only 6 months

    I started with ferrets 2 years ago and have just got a dog for next year because sick of netting up and not getting anything, hoping to get more holes done
