  4. You will struggle real hard to get rid of the majority of them using a gun... So just enjoy yourself and the sport, if your offered cash, say you will put it in the tank for fuel, if he doesn't mind...

Had a txt of a farmer asking if I could sort out a fox problem on a small holding of 20 acre, a lady has lost a few of her pet chickens to a fox, which shes seen regular during the day, shes also got an earth on there, so I'll check that later during the cold months... Dixyhmr had a look out for a couple of hours and we managed a few rabbits and some young foxes, three other foxes left the field, one an adult the other youngsters, they didn't hang around and when they were sat for a minute the shots were unsafe...Sort them out later...   13. Hes just been on the phone, they've came in and snapped the electric fence wire some how, chickens are mixed now as they were sectioned into smaller groups.. another 20+ dead around the houses.. They've came in from the south this time..
  14. Wouldn't be without mine, makes a massive difference noise wise, I prefer them when lamping late at night as they do quieten a gun down a lot and stop you getting a banging head ache to boot and upset neighbours were your shooting..

    Cows/Beast are naturally inquisitive, they like to check out anything strange or new... I've been neigh on stampeded myself years ago, the best thing is not to run that just fires them all up, chase on.. .. Just scare them back, make a bit of noise and wave your arms about to back them off or avoid the field..
  16. I love lamping, just not at the minute..I'll wait till the stubbles... I could use nightvision also, but the method I'm using is working for now..
  17. Yes snares, I'm not that keen on lamping at the minute, was only the summer solstice yesterday, late nights, someone had tried lamping previously with no success...
  18. Yes Patdahat hes over the moon.. Theres two seperate litters I think moving in one from north end of farm and one from east side...They have killed quite a few out of the 14,000 chucks..
  19. I was asked to sort out some problem foxes by a farmer friend, his chickens have been taken a hammering, Had three the last couple of days, still a lot more waiting for there McChicken takeaways..So I'll keep them in check..
