If this works out for you how about getting your Chinese contacts to make some gps collars? The garmin are great but mega money and too many pointless functions. I reckon they'd sell like hot cakes if you kept the set up simple and brought the price down

you could be onto something there mate.

 

dlloyd any chance of a free setup for the winter so i can write a review end of season :laugh::laugh:

I now what you mean mate i bought 3 Dc 30 collars and astro 3 20 box about 8 years ago and they were a shocking price after a few months i did now how i ever managed with out one contact garmin about being a uk supplier as i had a website selling hunting gear but it went now were they had no interest. When i was yous in them first i did not now of any one yousing them i new they would take off over here now lads all over with them now on all sorts of breeds and louds more that want them but for the massive price tag. Ill have a think on it. Cheers

Funny you say that vin i have spoken to some one jest last week about it. Gos agents the grain every one nows ferreting is for girls lol

I have been using the garmin alphas for a few years now, they are great and I wish I'd got them sooner but they are too complicated and expensive. Surely it must be possible to create a cheaper simpler system

the sportdog Tek 1.0 finds your dog,no maps or unnecessary features ,still a bit expensive to buy over here ,much cheaper in the states though (like most things)

 

I've bought a 2nd hand one with 2 collars that have electric collars built in £340 .

 

But I'm sure there must be a way to get an inexpensive tracker

Ordered a lamp off DLloyd Saturday 10 pm said he would post Monday morning true to his word it arrived at 845 this morning how's that for service as well as answering all my annoying questions thanks again mate
