Walnuts have now been removed from the brine , rinsed and put out on trays to dry off outside . You can see they go black . I've put them into jars and have made a spiced vinegar, it's got peppercorns, ginger , allspice , cinnamon, sugar , a few cloves . Simmered for a while left to cool then poured into the jars ...job done . Should be good in a couple of months .
