Quick scan with the lamp and the lamp gets turned off. Grab the strap and swing the rifle round to stick it on my shoulder and it turned into a pendulum slipping through my fingers. Thank feck it was the bottom clip. If it had been the top one the rifle would have been on the deck. Never again will I go for a QR sling. Other than that it was a quiet couple of hours.
