Can Anyone Reccommend A Nice Quiet Moderator For Tikka T3 Varmint ??

Buying tikka t3 varmint soon and im wondering if anyone can reccomend a good moderator for it

 

something not too heavy please as the gun is heavy enough

pes/mae t12 mate,quiet,light ish, and stainless steel,you wont buy much better.

dax ,there about £240 really pleased with it.Given i'm now in the old boys class i traded my sako in for light weight t3 ,ss & put the Atec alloy on , the whole set up suits me ,much lighter than my sako ,which by the way was absolutly on the money ,shot hundreds of deer /foxes with it just got to heavy to stalk all day with .

I have the t3 and I use a wildcat predator8 and love it I really do well with it.

Same here on my 6.5. Had a P8 before that, I think the P8 is the quieter of the two but wouldn't put that above weight / balance which, with the longer barrel of the 6.5 is better with the A TEC as its a1/3 the weight of the P8.

 

Sussex - is your A-TEC a reflex type or end-on?

I got the reflex first, and prefered it, but the gunsmith reamed it out a little too much to fit the fluted barrel of my .223 which I interchange between the 6.5. Didn't work out too well (nearly blinded / killed me) so i've got an end-on job now. Adds length but worth it with the weight saving.

Bet you were pleased with him ! how did he manage that.?....I've found the t3 nicely balanced with the atec , certainly notice the difference weight wise from the sako .
