Kay 3,709
stick to reading up on them and go out with your mates ferrets as much as possible if they own ferrets then their is relay no need for you to own one as you can work as a team with you and your dogs. if you have this deep rooted fear it will always be there have a look at you tube and their war dance i don't think you will be able to pick a ferret up while its doing this ask straight forward questions learn, a much as you can if you had phrased your question- trying to understand ferrets, so as to be less afraid. you would of got a lot of help. please think before you type as you put your foot in it every time you start a topic please please please don't buy a ferret i don't see a need for you to own one. Ive got to admit I'm starting to think that you are just posting things like this for attention. I dont know why anyone even bothers to reply to requests for advice as she never takes it , she was advised to take a terrier to the vets as it had a distorted stomach & suspected '' bloat'' , then it magically went away . I really get annoyed when people take the trouble to post with good sound advice & its just ignored & yet another thread started once the threads decended into a slanging match Quote Link to post

What i find hard to deal with is the fact its always some animal or other, they have to depend on us for everything & it upsets me if i thought there not getting what they need to function properly , even something as simple as water , its quite distressing , its the not knowing if its true or not as well , i mean if the animals are all fine & getting everything they need & it is just attention seeking them a few stern words for messing folks about who have been good enough to be advice givers is in order . But then are these animals being looked after properly , fed a species appropriat diet, getting water, veterinary attention when its needed , its all very sad whatever the truth is Quote Link to post
