feck it,,,,,,,,,,,,can anyone answer me this,,,,,,,,,this is hyper, no one aimed at, straight up,,,but when you see dogs in the for sale section, NO FAULT of its own BUT ITS GOT TO GO cos blah, blah, GOOD DOG this GOOD DOG that, then a sum of money behind the post, yeh i understand that people have put time/jabs and the rest into the dog but i just cant grasp it, i would just pass it on to a good gaff, and yes i understand that a bit of gold will keep the trackies away,,,,,,,,,like i said no offence to all the selling people as it is just a gen question, atb jack

i think for every genuine sale theres probably about 20 that are not. it seems to me that today,s "must have" is really tommorrows "must get rid for a bit of profit". They all say that "money isnt important".So why ask for it in the fcuking first place. 99% of it boils down to money mate. A sad state of affairs but true none the less. yis Stabba.

I think a bit of money helps keep the buyers real..yeah.

I understand that dogs get passed on too, but not from me. Personally, I get too attached, worker or not, pot filler or not, it stays. I'm too soft....My heart is bigger than my wallet.

Well to be honest buddy i see where your comming from , there is a lot of it on here latley . I looked at a post today ( the guy had posted 22 times ) and 20 of em were buyin and sellin stuff , i ask ya ? As far a dogs and passin em on to a good home i completly agree ok some want the money back, fair point i suppose , but that bitch i had from redmerle , cost me but i did`nt sell her , just got a good home for her , that was enough . Mind you , every body is money mad these days , and before somebody says `Save your money and get a rescue dog , there`s plenty of them that need homes ` a mate from work has recently lost his pet yorkie . Wife wanted another , kids missed the dog blah blah , so he looked all round the rescue places and found a 6 month old yorkie , went to see it at a foster home ( where the conditions wer`nt that good ) and said he would have it . SO the foster woman told the rescue place he wanted it and a home visit was aranged where he was told he would have to pay for the said dog , the princley sunm of £125 , yes £125 for a rescue dog !! He expressed his concern at the price , said he would speak to his wife and left it at that . Next day he had a call from another rescue place that had 2 yorkies in ( litter mates ) and they said that if he paid for the jabs , they would get em spayed /neutered and the deal is done . Now he has 2 dogs and some change in his pocket . I guess its priorities , for some its money , for some its welfare , atb Buster

I got my bitch free as the guy had an altercation in his kennels between her and his terrier(rip)She used to get bullied by it and the other dogs all the time and she rattled it and it ended up dead.So he needed her gone asap he brought her to me and met the other dogs seen where she was going etc and didnt hand her over till he had spoken to me for a while.Although she was a bit baldy and a few scars etc he genuinely seemed gutted to be giving her up.My male was the same the guy was selling him for£150 and chose to give him to me rather than sell him cos of the twits that had phoned i offered £90 and he said when i met him keep the cash i know hes going to a good home and the moneys better spent on the dog.He still phones to ask now and again about how hes getting on and ive had my male for about a year and a half now.Think it depends the dog and or person etc.If you have to pay for a dog you would certainly give it some more thought
