The artical on Whippet riding has been long awaited by many, this out dated practice should be banned, with the average size of the adult male getting bigger it is becoming harder to find small enough riders with out using foreign nationals

I have the first ever copy of the magazine from 1913 still in its shrink wrapped polythene cover and this covers all the aspects of whippet riding (How to get started equipment needed etc) and i'm open to offers of in excess of £20,000 for this once in a lifetime offer

Anyone thinking of putting in an offer for jt750's issue 1 should be very carefull. I'm not saying it's not genuine but shrinkwrapping wasn't invented then.

If it is the genuine thing check out the article on the 6 legged whippet race (where 2 whippets were tied together by one front and one back leg). The brindle dog in the winning pair at the finals doesn't look like a pure whippet to me. Interesting read though.

Kev.
