been thinkin that it could be cut off a coconut it looks like a straight cut to me

The hairs are fairly coarse with tiny roots and were just lying around in clumps. They are fawnish grey at the roots shading to dark brown or black at the ends. it is a bit greasy feeling and dosent really smell. That might be because i had it in a plastic nappy bag to bring back.

 

Labradoodle - if thats your fringe i wouldnt like to see the rest of your hair! :blink:

it was in a busy country park in devon, i was thinking one of the deer species as there was no noise. i dont know much about boar but i would think they make a fair bit of noise if threatened :hmm:

was it a country and western park .if so it might be a scalp :tongue2:

I used to find clumps of hair like this in a plantation here in Ireland - the only deer species present was Sika. I'm not sure if the deer lost these clumps of hair while scratching or fighting etc.

Thats what thought, seem too long, but if not then what? Could it be CWD or muntjac? its not my local area so im not sure if they are even present there. im no expert on deer though :icon_redface:
