managed to get out this morning for a few hours to do 2 small sets that i haven't touched for a while due to heavy undergrowth...

arrived on-site about 8.30 & threw the long-net around the first set, entered my two hobs...

only had to wait 5 minuted & i had my first bolter, he hit the net hard but seemed to bounce back off, he turned back round again & hit it again, this time he wasnt so lucky...

only had to wait another few minutes to hear a rabbit screaming from a near hole , he was trying to make a dash for it but was been held back, i reached down to grab him out to find my ferret hanging off the back end of him...

by this time both ferrets surfaced from this part of the set, so i placed them in the other end, 5 minutes later i had my 3rd hitting the net...

got the locator out & i marked them still at 2ft down for a few minutes but wasn't able to dig down as it was by the base of a concrete footing, they soon surfaced with fur in their claws, but i was happy with the 3 that bolted...

the last set i done was only a 4 holer, threw the purse nets down & entered the ferrets at opposite ends, bang, the first rabbit bolted & was soon despatched, only a few more minutes another, i accounted for 5 nice healthy sized rabbits..

sorry i dont mean to sound like a cocky tw*t i am just curious because i am still new to ferreting.

It usually moves the rabbits alot faster than just the one. Also if the sets arent deep, and you have locators you can dig. Personally i never really enter just the one
