bez 0 Posted December 22, 2008 Report Share Posted December 22, 2008 i went for my normal walk yesterday along the river bank.when i got back the dog was shitted up to the eyeballs so i washed her down and dryed her of .after about an half hour she started biting her feet scratching at the floor ,rubbing her head along the carpet and she was very unsettled and panting like mad so i thought sod this went to vets she checked her over temp ok infact she couldnt find anything wrong gave her a steriod injection and said looks like a allergic reaction to something.she eating ok but today shes not to bad but not yet 100% .has anyone any ideas what it could be? One of the pups we sold was taken to the vet because the owner thought it was having a fit when actually it had chased a cat through stinging nettles at the bottom of his garden! fraggle 4 Posted December 26, 2008 Report Share Posted December 26, 2008 my pup dose this when she come back from a walk and its defo nettles, she cant rest for upto a couple of hours after wards, trshing her bed etc etc, after that she is right as rain again, i found keeping her active during the period helps.
