found a rabbit

just been out ferreting and found this rabbit do u think its ok to give to my ferret for food?

his eye look abit white other than that looks okay to me

stick it up to your nose and have a good sniff, then ask yourself, would you eat it :sick: you'll have your answer

 

if the blood is very dark, its been dead a while, still red is fresh

no do not. the eyes are saying its been there a long time in heavy rain. i've you dont kill it your self leave it. remember if it was healthy a fox, buzzard etc would have had it

Probably mixi, which won't hurt your ferrets, but i wouldn't give mine something that i didn't know how it died.

It looks like it has been frozen then dumped.

animals eye's cloud over just like that after bieng put in the freezer and defrosted.

I know landowners that put out poison rabbits to knock down foxes, so I would'nt give it to my animals.
