i put a cage over the top ov it mate ,as i need too or all my hens would have broken legs :tongue2:

No mate to me it looked like he was asking a question not slating him off.

There is a difference :thumbs:

He might not set traps so doesn't know.

had about 20 over two week ,and now all the bait goes but the trap dont go off!! :angry: could this be mice or small rats

You could try forcing them onto the edge of the plate to get maximum leverage, possibly a couple of bits of fence wire pushed into the ground. Also the plate looks very low, nearly touching bottom, could it be bent a little, if so lift it in the set position and bend it up an 1/8". Ps with safety on of course. ian

You can just about make out where somethings been over the top and the corn seems to be in a shape that would fit in a tunnel.

 

Would this sort of trap be ok for stoats and mink??

 

 

Yes mate, I usually restrict the size of entrance to the tunnel, and guide them onto the outer edge of the plate where they have most leverage on the trap. You would need to use the Mk 6 version ie the fenn Rabbit trap for mink. The little Mk4 is ideal for stoats though, ian.
