If you was given the chance to either own a Cz 452 Silhouette .22lr or a Ruger M77/22 Rimfire what would you own?

This is not about looks but the quality of the gun.

As we all know the Cz is a Excellent gun with a great reputation but the Ruger has been about for a long time and has been given a lot of respect for being a fine gun make and never a let down.Money is not the object here but the sheer fact of what one is the best...

I am going through a rough time trying to decide what to get as my first rimfire for Rabbit's and the odd fox.

I really do need help on this.

Thanks all Dan. :)

As you say the Ruger has "been around", and I can't deny it does the job...but not for me....

I currently own 3, CZ rimfires, .22LR, .17HMR & .22WMR, and just bought one for my lad ...so....you want to guess????

Just to show there's always one :D

I had a BRNO (CZ) as my first rimfire.

Replaced that with a Ruger 77/22 all weather because I prefered the mag and wanted all weather stainless.

Have just set up again and after handling the CZ range I felt I would still be happiest with another Ruger so went for the fancy VBZ matt stainless/laminated model with 24" barrel.

There was no difference in accuracy between the 2, I am definately the "limiting" factor :D:D:D
