Bark,your posts sound more like personal attacks,?? most people have either 1st names or the names they use on here,why would you say the out x was a mess up?? wasnt it DB himself that did the 1st out x?? may i ask politely what your envolvement with the breed is and how you come to know so much about the early days of the plummer and the wishes of DBP? we can all abuse people from behind a keyboard my fellow plummer enthusiast, Luke,your tea is ready:bye: keeps,your forum is a good forum but there is some seriously missleading info on there concerning some of the so called working dogs. and you do seem to fall in and out with whatever crowd suits at the time concerning this breed.iv only ever owned and worked pure blood dogs but am looking to try one of the out x dogs,i dont see the problem aslong as the dog works,those that say sue or tim i think it maybe an idea to prove that your dogs are working with a few pics,not hard to find a dead fox,infact they lay about the roads here,what proof is in a picture? im look forward to a visit to from a man in the near future to watch the out x work,there are certainly some strong looking dogs among some of those lines,anyone that just writes them off does not know working dogs,nither do they know what "PURE" blood "REALLY" means.if so which dogs carry the purest k9 blood??

Sanity at last, I was beginning to fear there was none left.

 

I have seen enough 'staged pictures' to last me a lifetime, there are good and bad in every breed and every walk of life.

Sue stepped into the arena over 10 yrs ago and put her neck on the line, as a breeder with background knowledge and wealth of information, she doesnt claim to work dogs never has and never will, Brian was well aware of this, he said ' anyone can dig, there are very few stockmen about'. she stays within her capabilities, I and many more have benefitted from Brians and her input and the breed is healthierand more popular than ever because of her dedication and work - you only need to take this thread for example. Call me all you like, call her, but you can never undo what she has contributed to the breed like or no like, its in there , and its far too deeply engrained to go back.

its like doing the lottery i was told that if you seen a good dog working

you should book a pup off the mother and father of that dog and those

are wise words so carry on with your lottery tickets

Whats it to do with you how my posts come over? I new brian a long time ago and just wandered why the oc programme hadn't been carried out to his plans. thats all. we talked at length at the time and he wanted me to help him out with his plans. i refusedcos i didn't agree with him. Seems like i am asking the wrong questions and i am not getting any answers so i will stop.

no arguemant here bark but what in your opinion were his plans and how do they differ to to what sue and others have already done? i honestly see a lot of the oc dogs as very tidy little dogs and am looking forward to haveing one for work,i beleive keepses dog is heavy in bull blood, so are nuttalls line of pats these day,

In the hands of rothwell this hasn't been achieved due to her lack of knowledge in how to outcross.

 

I take it you do then? if so lets see your dogs and hear of your achievements with them ,or are you, as I presume , just another spouter with no goods and lots of opinions of how it shouldhave been done, without actually doing or contributing, we can all criticise .

 

Contribute to what. You being able to sell your dogs for £££££££££. Contribute to kc rec. No way. Critisise i will as it is based on fact and you never new what you were doing. I had a good idea when you got involved that you would commercialise the breed and take take take. Even Brian wasn't sure about you but felt he had no option cos no one was listening to him or wanted to carry out his plans. Said you were cluless and hoped he would live long enough to make sure you didn't balls it up. Said he had left the breed in the hands of idiots just before he died. Says it all really and i must be honest you haven't proved him wrong. There looks to be more trouble within your breed at present tahn there ever was.

 

On the subject of outcross, yes i do know how to do it properly. Then again it is hardly rocket science is it? So why didn't you follow Brians plans? Was it because you were not able to do so because you wanted to make a fast penny out of breeding them? Would have took longer and more effort to do it properly. Longer to breed a type that was acceptable and charge loads of money for them.

 

Looking at your input on here and it doesn't really beenfit the breed does it. Infact it looks like you are hated amongst other plummer folk. that many people can't be wrong surely.
