Hob&Jill 258
Check that shes getting to the food, one of mind is very submissive and I have to seperate her to ensure she gets a decent meal. If she is definitly eating loads then I would get her to the vet as theres something up. Ferrets cant get worms :thumbs-up: HJ Quote Link to post
sikastag_1 689
did they get the jill jab or takin out of season by a snipped hob or have young? Quote Link to post
deanflute 550
one of my jills lost loads of weight just after summer for some reason?, I monitered them when they were feeding and she wasn't pushed out of the way by the others and seemed happy just to eat what she wanted, so i just kept my eye on her and gave her a few more treats than the others, she seems to be putting a little bit more weight on now. Brimmer 220
Probs what Hob + Jill said, one of two ferrets in a cage over a week or two can hog the food, even full carcasses. Resulting in one getting skinny quick! Try letting the skinny one have a feast before you let the other feed. This is where matching individual animals comes in at this time of year!
