stubby 175
having a slope is fine, if you have a drain for cleaning within the court, but having a slope to let urine run off, wont work, they dont wee the amount to cause a tidalwave, better to just clean them out on a regular basis Quote Link to post
Malt 379
I had a concrete base down in my court & they used to shite everywhere. I've found that if I cover it with chippings, they've gone back to using the corners. Quote Link to post
Guest MaughSar
cement can burn the skin when its wet but after its set its safe to use Quote Link to post

jazz_11 5
if you cover the floor with lino then you dont have to worry about the ferrets feet and it also makes justa s easy cleaning would if you have plain concrete down. hope it helps jazz Quote Link to post
stubby 175
oh and put some curtains up while your about it come on, concrete has been used for years, our floors, dog runs, ferret courts, have you noticed an influx of stories in the paper of humans and animals with burnt feet just make sure its gone off good and proper, before introducing the ferrets back in, paint it with floor paint if your overly worried, or take our word for it my outside court floor, yes its concrete Quote Link to post

iamduvern 62
When you pour the slab polish it up as best you can and when set paint with a good quality sealant make sure the slab has a good fall and try to get some sort of drainage then you should have no problems with damp Quote Link to post
