Guest buster321c Posted October 9, 2008 Report Share Posted October 9, 2008 Stone Roses for you young un`s , that the band oasis tried to be stone roses quality band but oasis never tried to be them at all they came out of the same studios when hey kicked off and i think it was both the bands culture but quite different really also the song noel did with ian brown was bang on they have respect for each other Agreed Smashy , but i think it was Noel that took alot of inspiration from them , and decided he wanted to form a band after seeing the Roses live , Ian Brown , the original Northern Monkey true anyway i cant knock either oasis would state they were number 1 i think anyway. both class bands mate ,id say it was more the inspiration too but i see the sound quite different in their own right Agreed and anything from factory records is good Quote Link to post Share on other sites
