Bullx's day time deer (PRE BAN)

Just wondering how you guys would rate bullx's on day time deer?

Are they any good? or would you have prefered another cross pre ban?

I fancy getting a bullx for retrieving shot fox on the lamp :whistling: but also would want it to track deer :whistling:

Would you say bullx would be the right cross for what I am after

Cheers Ben :drink:

Im not into these Bull x's, but have seen SOME good ones take deer. Around here we have a lot of water

deer, muntjac, they wouldnt be suited here for that reason alone. Depends on really if you get a racy build one

and not a power house that has no speed, stamina to get to them and stick like glue with them.

A good saluki x will do the job, entered correctly.

theres nothing in your requirements what any lurcher x couldnt do,try looking at what land you'l mainly be running on aswell, small feilds big feilds, rough ground, long slips.and see if the bull x is suited to that, because most lurchers shouldnt have a problem with any of that quarry,
