THEY CAME FROM MANCHESTER

Not seen it, but who could argue with the influence manchesters has had on the true music lover.....

personally i liked the whole Hacienda scene, with favourite DJ Greame Park doing some lovelly music......and of course, who could overlook the "Madchester"era........Mondays, Roses, Farm amongst others.......

I have the film "24 hour party people" and its superb.....JD

i remember being stood in the que at the hacienda and some dickhead let of some chinese fireworks, you've never seen so many people hit the dirt at once, thinki was the only one still stood up :laugh:

 

 

And of course Joy Division :thumbs:

 

i live 2 streets away from where ian curtis(joy divison) hung himself :blink:

 

 

bowlers was the best manchester club scene for me :yahoo:

Listening to Joy Division is,,,,,,,moving.

 

Northside tape is always on in the van, "head in the clouds into the acid rain"

[shall we take a trip down memory lane.]what a tune.

top tune....... :clapper: brings back memories.....

 

were the Durrutti column from over that way too????..

it wasnt just the bands that were from manchester, it was the whole genre that they spawned.....all with similar sounds...lol..

 

but ace.....
