speedlamper 0
you,d be better of contacting a book auction house, you'll get a free rough estimate and you could probably get a very good price on the right day
comanche 3,251
Great books there. Probably find a lot of rough prices in Internet Book dealers sites and E-bay .Unless a book is a rarity condition is everything. A readable copy (and what else are books for but reading in the bath?) is always worth something to someone who values content over cover though. Some of the stuff you list is in the under a fiver class but others are definatly a bit special . Libraries have a computer system that can trace books by author ,title ,publisher etc.(See Blue Coyote for other reasons for visiting the library). Don't bother with the one they let the public loose on. The "Special" Computer guarded by the lady on the desk can do a much more thorough search. Auction valuations are one thing but don't sell at em unless you get firm reserve prices .Them book- buyers are a crafty lot. Great to see afew for sale on this site ? .Good luck
tote 857
The Lurcher- Frank Walker. 1978.A charming account of life seen through the eyes of a dog. The story of a dog belonging to an old gypsy who speaks English only occasionally, the dog responds to commands given in Romany, on his owners death he is left to fend for himself on the Yorkshire moors, he is rescued & retrained by Pecher a poacher.
