Recommended Posts

hello guys there was a post on a couple of week ago about common buzzards as they are coming back on the map now. i went out last week on monday and then on the thursday as soon as i turned up at the shoot straight away i saw a common buzzard whatch it fly away then started shooting.

then later on into the night as i had no luck i started to do a bit of plinking just praticing shooting stood up and what do you no........a barn owl flying straight at the side landed in a tree about 80 yards away i couldnt belive my eyes as this was the first one i have seen in the wild.

couple of days later i go out same place just to do a bit of target practise and see the buzzard again circling in the sky over a load of seaguls quite good to watch then coming from the distance a little kestrel it was mint. any way thanks for reading this and i would like to no if anyone has had the same look as me. nice one

We regularly see two mature and one juvenile buzzards, a couple of kestrels and for the first time in my long life, a peregrine falcon.

I've heard three or four different owl hoots of a night, but have never spotted one yet.

I have a wee bat who follows me as I leave the house and head over the fields too. He must be after all the flies and suchlike I disturb.

Cheeky bugger really puts the frighteners up me as the first thing you know about him being there is when you see him arrowing straight at your face as stupid speeds!
