Missie 1
Around Helston you have the Seal sanctuary at Gweek, Goonhilly, St Michael's Mount all within an easy ish drive. Off the top of my head I can't think of anything else but Lizard Point isn't far from there either. There are plenty more but I can't think of them at the moment. Some glorious beaches too. "Flambards", mate, good day out for the family if it's wet, if it's fine get them on the beach, ice cream, pasty and a saffron bun, what more could you want from life

craftycarper 0
loads of scenic harbours,beaches...pack the rods and camera...keep an eye out for the tides especially if you explore any caves on the shoreline...get a tide table can be a bit iffy if you get cut off, its easily done believe me..print one off through here before you go...just stick in the nearest port http://easytide.ukho.gov.uk/easytide/EasyT...SelectPort.aspx do it the day before you go as you can get a free 7 day prediction which gives you all the high and low tide info.... these are handy as it saves you arriving at the beach to find theres no water, you can plan your day around it...
