Guest olofthegr8 Posted June 13, 2008 Report Share Posted June 13, 2008 earlier today i shot a jay. after 2 hours of looking for it i found it , but where i found it has quite a few rats sometimes . only after 10 mins of giving it to the ferret i remembered that rats carry weils disease/leptospirosis, could my ferret catch it? i'll probably take him to th vets for a injection. dawnraider 2 Posted June 13, 2008 Report Share Posted June 13, 2008 i once read that the good old rat is one of the best sources of vitamins etc that your ferret can get,cant recall the book i lent it to my sister will get it back as it was not just informative but quite an amusing read ,the life n times of a wiley old ferreter who once fed a spider monkey given by a friend who worked at a local zoo only to be reported to the police by a neighbour for putting a baby in with his ferrets. :sick: Quote Link to post
