Anyone actually hunting with their guns these days?

Has any body else noticed that there dosn't seem to be alot of hunting going on, on here lately?

I haven't seen any decent pics up here for a while, it seems that most of the posts, are by dreamers, dreaming of buying rifles.

Where are the airgunners gone, come back, this used to be a good section!

i was out this weakend, i only got 1 magpie and i tiny bunny, its hardly worth posting the pics, but i could do if you want.

 

i would like to see far more airgun stuff on here too

I've just come in from shooting crows and pigeons on a newly sown field of beans, I've never ever taken any photos of my bag, and most likely never will so I can't help.

Finally got out at the weekend there for a try of my air rifle ,busy zeroing in and doing a bit target practice as it`s year`s since i even fired an air rifle . But hopefully i should be ready to do some hunting very soon and take a few pic`s and post them on here . Happy hunting regard`s FV

So,if it's not on here it's not happening.

 

I nipped out last night at dusk and shot 2 rabbits for the pot.This afternoon I was out with the ferret and bagged 6 rabbits and I've no doubt I'll be out tommorrow with the ferret to get some more.

 

Is it worth taking a pic of 2 rabbits and posting it on here? If I took a pic and put up a post everytime I was out you would soon get sick of them.

I was out with the HMR this morning. I got three bunnies, two young ones and a good sized adult. I rarely take pictures if I only get a couple. If I ever get what I consider to be a good bag I'll post it on here, but I din't think there was much point in shouting about a couple of bunnies.

I didn't say it's not happening, put your dummy back in your mouth Tote mate! I'm not one of these people on here who INSIST you have to post pics to be taken seriously. All I was saying, is that there used to be a lot of pics on here, but all that seems to be posted, it the 'I'm dreaming of XX gun, what do you think?'. Questions that have been asked & answered hundreds of times, and the answers to which, can be found with a quick search through the vast back pages of this section. No one minds giving their thoughts, but it does get quite tedious answering the same questions all the time.

I know what you mean about the same questions being asked again and again,it happens on the other pages as well,ferreting,lurchers etc etc.

 

I think we'll have to live with it as I can't see it changing.

 

Only one thing for it,we'll have to get out there,shoot some quarry and get the pics up.

perhaps its due to those that do it feeling they dont want to post about it as those that dont do it just want to argue about it?

Took the gun out last Thursday night for the first time this year.Only got 2 due to the shoot being like the Somme they could hear me a mile off.The way the weathers going up to now don,t think i will be out regularly till May(hopefully).

Don't really bother that much with the photo scene but if I've got my phone or the camera I'll take a few, this was my last lamping session with the Logun (a bit dark but I think you can just make them out?)

That's some warning shot! I thought a warning shot was supposed to be just over the bow, you'd never make a Royal Navy gunner!
