Plenty or twenty yards behind definitely one of them two, I’ve had pure saluki get straight lined for maybe 2 or 3 minutes from a kick up 2 yard slip if that and never bent it just followed it around 10 yards off, happened a few times, Salukis generally arnt fast dogs all your looking for from them is heart and stamina, if your lucky to get a fast one then your onto a winner

Yea definitely, I’ve already dusted off my old lamping gear and am thinking of getting ferrets again always use to have them when I was younger

Can still run odd scabby whislt out ferreting, my kids are fcukers for it if things start getting boring ot a few digs haha they sneak away with dogs, youngest lad is only one mine that really not proper experienced it but he on me case now cos iv mentioned a whippet a couple times an I know he will end up with it haha that’s another reason for summat small enough for him to handle
