Bangersanmash 5,356 Posted Sunday at 19:32 Report Share Posted Sunday at 19:32 Well am just chilling outside with some spuds on open drum fire. Resting the spuds some old bird wire. Haven't done this for years. Can't beat jacket spuds on an open fire. Some best butter and mature cheddar cheese. My lads biting at bit for one lol.

Saying he's seen my youngest lads story on that Snapchat. Where was my invite lol. True about memories. He mentioned the times we always put them on this time of year. From all the garden waste id dry down then burn for pot ash. Pop a few jacket spuds on.
Bosun11 537
I enjoy a jacket spud, but I'm not the biggest fan. What I can't get my head around lately are blokes like 'The Spud Man', who's all over social media, has celebrities and people coming from far and wide for a jacket spud, with huge queues lasting hours. I believe one has opened by me in Crosby and people are coming from all over the NW to try it, WTF is that all about, it's a baked potato with butter and grated cheese etc FFS...??
