September/October are too hurricany so we thought about early next year. She was browsing flights for the last 2 weeks of February but I suggested last week of February and first week of March instead which is when she booked flights for. By a lucky coincidence the NHRA drag racing is on the first week of March. Rude not to book a day there. going to the NHRA drag racing should be a nice ending to your holidays bud, have a great time..... my fathering law used to build the engines in the top fuel dragsters, a lot of money involved, once he rebuilt the engine they would run it for 7 mins including the run in that time, then back to the garage to be rebuilt again.... i remember chatting to him about it, the ones he did (back in the day) from memory, were around 9-10,000 hp, something like 2 inch fuel lines and 18 gallons of fuel per run.....that`s some performance...... have a good time bud....

They're about 10-12000 hp now depending on who you ask. They could never measure it on a dyno. 0-340mph in 3.6 seconds. Even Toyota make a top fuel engine now. I haven't seen any live drag racing since 2017. I was booked to see it in Vegas in 2020 but we couldn't fly due to the covid thing. Best thing about this trip is our ESTAs are still valid until August 2026, so saves me $28! Quids in.

Quids in. to get 10-12000 hp out of these engines is pretty impressive, i wonder if they will be producing any more hp in years to come.....i didn`t know that toyota made an engine for drag, see, I've learnt something today....lol, mind you, i`m not surprised as the early 90`s Toyota supra`s in the film xxx was tuned to 1200hp, that`s three times the hp of my wife's truck at 400hp.... can you image the mind set of the driver at 0-340mph in 3.6 sec, with that as well the g force at 6 g`s.....amazing!.... don`t forget your ear muffs...lol lol i`m not in tune with a esta is that some sort of visiting visa? No an ESTA is a visa waiver you get instead of a visa. Means you can visit the U.S for up to 3 months at a time. Valid for 2 years.
