A think yours would too over years of hitting them notes 🎶. Nowadays it's all done by f***ing technology AI. These today can't f***ing sing lol

Some great bands about today mate..

Catfish and the Bottleman

Wunderhorse

Nothing but Thieves (what a voice that boy has!)

I love all my old music, big 90s fan... Bruce Springsteen would be my desert Island pick as he is alongside Bob Dylam probably the best songwriter/lyricist ever imo... oh and Jarvis, f**k he can wrote a line!

Raye is a great modern singer as well, beautiful voice and she comes across as a great girl, very much like a new Amy Whinehouse...

Dropped a baggie, lent out of an automatic Mercedes...and drove over his own head.....f***ing legend 🤣

On the album that came out , he did a very kitsch cover of a song that means a lot to me . I was also extremely pleased to hear it in my favourite tv show ever and it’s been on my iTunes since.

Daltrey is the friend of a good pal of mine, by all accounts he was plodding away until recently I think earning a nice few quid doing his thing. His place is spot on, lovely historic gaff in Eas

Dylan deserves a mention, I only really like a few of his songs but he's a poet and is catalogue pisses all over the rest.

Saw him live in 98 at Glastonbury. He was bloody brilliant.. Acid or no he was great lol.

Best entertainer I ever saw live.... Robbie Williams (same year at Glastonbury). He was as off his head as I was but Jesus could he get the crowd going. Finished that weekend with Pulp, again fantastic artists and Jarvis got the crowd going even though it was the Sunday night and the end of the festival.

Anyone going to Glastonbury, check out the Hare Krishna tent lol

Gotta say, Prince was a legend too.

Yeah amazing, without doubt one of the most talented musicians/song writers of all time...but... Dylan is not the musician of Prince, he is a lyricist a poet, who can write a hook... I think Stiffy is alluding to Dylan having an inferior back catalogue which is wrong...Dylan songs are covered more than anyone (probably)...I know Stiffy hates Dylan though...think Noel is a better song writer lol

OK off the top of my head people who have covered Dylan songs...

Rolling Stones

Guns and Roses

Adele

Jimi Hendrix

Johnny Cash

Cher (for that alone Stiffy should love him! Lol)

Dolly Parton

Joan Baez

The Byrds

I don't know stats but I'd guess he is up there with the most prolific song writers of all time...

I gave in, I had to Google...f**k me everyone had either had a song written for them or covers Dylan! 600 covers of his songs have been released..

George Harrison, the Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix covered 5 of his songs!, Elvis, The Clash, Jeff Buckley...

When you talk of back catalogues and impact on artists, yeah Dylan is up there!!

Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons sang a lot of songs that were later covered and were bigger hits than their original, Silence is Golden, Can't Take My Eyes Off You, etc.

You talked about Catalogue mate... not time spent in a studio... Dylan released an album.last year, the blokes 80 odd... for what it's worth it thought the album.was shit, but still sat and watched the legend perform it! Lol
