Right to get us back on track , @scotty12, you bred this litter of pups, and they look very well, what was your thoughts using the sire you choose ? 

I reckon you’ve done a decent thing getting one into the hands of @Seagull , who in all honesty has been crying out for a well bred pup as he has the time and a bit of knowledge to make it into a decent animal . Well done both of you . 

Wasn’t my original plan to use that sire I was using my brothers dog but it died 2/3weeks before the bitch was about to break and I never had a plan b to be truthful. Had a few conversations with people and got in contact with the owner of the sire and organised the mating there’s a few pups of similar breeding already on the ground doing well atm and the sire runs the same type of land as me reedy fields ,rough moorland and seed so it just ticked a few box’s and took a chance with it and the man that owns the sire is genuine dog lad and always got a handy animal around him. 
 

so far so good all owners are more than happy promising so far hopefully when the time comes they’ve got the minerals for what there bred for

what’s the criteria for gifting pups mate ? How many years experience should they have ?

It’s clear to see how jealous he is off you just now, that’s how he’s had to get his retired pet off the couch and back into the field to try stay relevant in this section of the forum

Saying that I did hear him chuntering as I was leaving, he is Scottish after all, tighter than a ducks arse.

I would have liked to have seen the sire run tbh but I did a bit of reading and the dog is meant to be very handy. Not sure on it's style, I'm sure Scottie will know more than me.

I'm back home ya clot, only went camping for a couple of nights, that plenty enough.
