I was there myself just last month , I thought it was bassenthwaite as it was wooded and low at the stones which is what BT lake looks like from the east side

I was nearly in tears driving up the farm track to the campsite, talk about off the beaten track, boulders everywhere, my poorly new car, it's beautiful up here isn't it.
