dodger 3,587
No bollox at all he wants to prepare and forge his kids into a mental physical toughness the best he can ready to take on the world and the bad that she brings with it because the day will come when he's not always going to be there to do it for them..
Borr 7,667
Well it's kinda a bollox video, but it's what we all want for our boys , knowing what our fathers may or may not have given us, life experience you wish to pass on , stories . Basically Humanities experience has been passed on through millennia through stories. Edited June 21 by Borr 3
WILF 49,716
Young lads will do what young lads have always done, not take a blind bit of notice and go off and make all their own f**k ups……the only time they will remember their dads advice is when they are their dads age ! Give them a few morals and let them off to be the person they are….thats the best you can hope for imho 2 1

At the same time I took reassurance from the old man , there's a thousand moments , one that springs to mind was getting agro from a girlfriend, he just said throw the phone in the bin... sometimes you need that simplified guidance lol

We all want to protect/warn our kids from all the knocks we took but you can’t, after all the only reason we know is because we experienced them. And they have to do it too, hopefully if you did your job as a dad the circumstances they experience them under is more positive then the ones you had to learn your lessons under…..I’m like all dads, I bore the pants off my kids in the motor imparting my dad wisdom but I can see the look on their face “f**k sake, leave off you boring c**t, I’m thinking about going on the piss with my mates and getting wrapped round a little darling !” lol Absolutely no different to what we did, hopefully they are just mixing in better company ? lol Edited June 21 by WILF

Borr 7,667
I told my boys look at this horse rider waving me on on a blind bend , it so happened a white van came around at about 50 mph , it sank in .. albeit most don't have an outcome and they go yeah yeah...
Borr 7,667
Long and short kids got to have some luck on side , we all behave like dick heads in our youth, if you manage to get through that bit unscathed then you become a little more open to wisdom.... 1
Arry 24,611
Thing my father taught me was not to be like him. Not piss all the house keeping money down the pub. Not to waste more money backing horses. To respect tools not let them rot on the garden or rust in a damp shed. Look after the car oil change etc. Don't buy what you cant afford on the never never. We have f**k all thanks to him. Swore my kids would not go wanting, and they never did. Cheers Arry 4
