🤣🤣🤣bad news just checked with my pal who I work with who prices everything.I just get a flat day rate.He has the profit but also has the stress.i thought he told me a couple of weeks back on our last job that we've just completed a grand a meter but I got that wrong. He said 2grand a meter. The one wee just done was 50square meters and they paid just over 100k then extras for the bathroom suit/kitchen and patio and paths.Sorry mate,Good job I aint pricing big jobs.

My old man's is 16m2 and everything was done with plenty of change from 20k.

Yeah you're right again of course it's all a piece of piss.Hard to work out why good builders are always flat out busy and earning decent dough when people could just get anyone off the dole who can read a tapemeasure to do it for them

Why ask me how much it would cost when you've got your brother and your dad's mate? You should know a southerner is gunna be expensive.Or you could even get Mchull to do it.Hes already said its easy.Probably have you moved in it within a fortnight

I've just done over 20k in a fortnight, just upstairs on a new bathroom, plastering ceilings and flooring, painting, skirting, new doors, blinds  in 3 bedrooms,3 double beds and memory foam mattresses, only Labour I spent out on was £375 for plastering, and £250 for a plumber to put copper pipes in for a shower straight off the combi...done everything else myself, because people are taking the piss with prices these days, even when you call in favours....haven't started downstairs yet or the garden....you best get some overtime in Pal😁

Materials are through the roof since lockdown.Everything went up and never came back down.Even shitty old LBC sandfaced bricks are well over a quid each now.And then they keep getting sillier on building regs with insulation.150 cavities,150 cellotex in the oversite.Timber is mental.Concrete keeps going up.
