I think her lack of top end speed is down to her little legs A greyhound is not fast enough at times 1 Quote Link to post
DogMagic2 85
My boy is 16 now. And 1 16th beddy, the rest whippet. In his day he was dynamite. Once when lamping i had 5 rabbits in hand still alive because i didn't have to time to neck them as he caught them and zoomed off after another one. He wasn't really fast enough for hares or big enough for deer but he was terrific on rabbits which is what he was for. He was happy to dive into gorse bushes to get to a rabbit (hence the ear), good jumper, put his heart into everything. This pic is him chasing a jack rabbit in California 6 Quote Link to post
gnipper 6,761
He's done well to keep a rough coat with only 1/16th terrier in there. A lot of 3/4 cross are smooth coated 2 Quote Link to post
