anyone know why this is no longer available? used it for years on dogs cuts, abrasions, hair loss etc, any decent alternative?

What you need it for Fred? For little knicks an cuts an stuff I just use salt waters for more serious wounds I’d use dry cow, an for hair loss I use nu stock, you won’t find better imho mate, used loads a shit in past but now I keep it simple an it works, vets will tell you same of they half decent

Yes mate, mainly wounds and knicks, you need something handy specially with a whippet, just come to order some and it's discontinued. Just looking for a decent all round ointment

A hound had a load of ticks on it i had to get something to sort it  got some permethrin soap off amazon like medicated bar of soap I'd a terrier with bad skin to see after 3 weeks skins all healed not a tick on the dog couldn't recommend it enough 7 quid for 2 bars of it

If you can get hold of it,then a few  tubes of dry cow -for any bite/puncture wounds,keeps out any infection(best stuff I've ever used) and then some of  that  sudacream ,used it on my dogs for yrs... heals a dog up in quick time

I started using it over 10 yrs ago...never kept penicillin or sharps in the house since,You know yourself if you get the dog out,and get it into them straight away,by the time you've driven home,swelling is gone,under a lamp for 2/3 days and good to go again,if I was still digging flat out,I wouldn't use anything else tbf ,have used it on dogs,ferrets and various BOP'S and even the daughters tortoise after a Russell dog mullered it,over the years

Yea it's the job saves all the  hassle that stuff.....The tortoise survived the ordeal he looks a character  mate lol he'd give mchull a run for his money
