To me mick , lucky was so clever he played with that hare . Waiting for its gasket to blow.  There's no doubt about his brain . Letting that hare out away from hole . However.  Do you think he'd have pressured it more on tighter land . The collie brain rips out him mate

i’d say he was playing with nothing mate it was pulling him all over the place 3 mins in it took him 3/4 mile thats zoomed in on the land that was a right distance without a bend thats the type  a hare blew lucas to bits lucky was fast fast mate no collie in him. bit a whippet

Mate . Your hanging onto the lucas on a real hare clip . Been said before,  I'm no fan of owner . But did he not run lucas a 6 year old on 4 the day before.  Bad bad move . And that hare lucas was on looked to me a better hare than the one you posted . Now it could simply be the edge was off lucas and the fact it's ripping 30 yard out of bend . mate honest you can’t put lucas anywere near lucky it’s an insult them lads tell you it ran 3 times that week 4 a time before matching an unbeaten dog that can kill strong uns  come on he was a good killer on top going but couldnt bend a real un i seen it hundred  times you drop on that big buck open land right time only the fastest be in with a shot lucky is a lot faster then lucas more gears

I think Fettle was sired by Sam or Reefer, but it's a long time ago now

Nipper lined Jodie and Dancer and produced some pups up north one of which was Blondie
